Hi, my name is Tony and I've been a professional photographer for forty years. I'm now pretty much retired, but still open to interesting offers.
My background is in news photography - throughout the 1980's and 1990's I worked on a range of newspapers both large and small. During that time I photographed plane crashes, car crashes and financial crashes, most of the Royal family and some of the Royle family. I photographed everything from drug-smugglers in Spain to wayward priests in Ireland. I've covered football at Wembley Stadium, rugby at Twickenham, and I've flown over the Atlantic with the US Air Force whilst they re-fueled fighter jets directly beneath me. From 1991 - 1998 I was picture editor on a series of regional newspapers.
Since giving up the staff job twenty odd years ago and "going freelance", I've covered assignments for just about every national newspaper in the UK, and now work throughout the U.K. from my base near Exeter - contact me on 07770 484 888.
As for commercial and PR photography, I ran an extensive list of blue chip clients including PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Coutts Bank, The UK Government, Mitsubishi, Asda, Bloor Homes, Bellway Homes, Mercedes Benz, Drayton Manor, DFS, Screwfix, Punch Taverns, McCarthy and Stone, Hanson, DEFRA, Linden Homes, The Post Office, Taylor Wimpey, Royal Star and Garter, Pets At Home, BASF, Mitchell & Butler - too many more to mention.
